The CRSLMREL Blog welcomes submissions from students, academicians, law practitioners and civil society activists. All authors are required to adhere to the guidelines mentioned hereinafter for submission of their entry.
Content: The entries must showcase engagement and analysis of issues in the field of mining law, land law or real estate law. Entries may deal with such issues through an interdisciplinary approach, or from a legal perspective or non-legal perspective. All the authors are requested to send only original content. The originality of the entry shall be confirmed by a mandatory process of plagiarism check.
Rolling Submission Policy: The Blog follows a rolling submission policy and hence, there is no deadline to submit articles.
Co-authorship – Co-authorship up to 2 authors is allowed.
Covering Letter: All submissions must be sent to . All submissions must be accompanied with a covering letter, containing the name of the author(s), institutional affiliation, Title of the submission and category of the submission [whether related to mining law, real estate law or land law] and a contact address of the author, including the e-mail address and the phone number. Submissions should be sent as an MS word (.doc format) attachment with the title of the article as the file name.
Identification Details: The body of the submission must not contain identification of any kind, including the name and institutional affiliation of the author.
Decision on Publication: The Editorial Team of the Journal promptly acknowledges the receipt of submissions. In case, this does not happen, please re-send the e-mail. On receipt of the submission, it shall be processed by the editorial team and the decision about its acceptance or rejection shall be communicated to the authors within 10-12 days. Requests for expedited reviews can be made when the submission is being considered for publication by other blogs. In such cases, please mention a date by which you expect our response.
The submissions may be accepted conditionally and shall be eligible for final publication on the incorporation of the changes in the style as suggested by the Editorial Team. Relaxation of any rules regarding submissions is subject to the discretion of the Board of Editors.
Form of Submission: All submissions must be in electronic form. All submissions must be word-processed, single-spaced in Times New Roman, font size 12 and justified.
Word Count: The acceptable word count for the blog submissions is between 1200 and 1500 words (exclusive of footnotes). However, this requirement may be relaxed at the sole discretion of the Editorial Team, after considering the overall quality of the submission.
Citations: Only footnotes may be used as the form of citations. All footnotes must be in Times New Roman, size 10, single-spaced and justified. The author may use any recognized standard for citations throughout the submission uniformly, provided the sources are easily identifiable and navigable. The Editorial Team recommends the Bluebook (20th Ed.), OSCOLA (4th Ed.) and NUJS Law Review (1st Ed.) as the preferred standards for citation.
